Dance Of A Thousand Nights (Solo Dance)

All Participants must have Basic Registration (BR) Card before participating in the event.

Due to your overwhelming response the registrations for this event are now closed.

Any dance form is welcome.

Competition will be held in two phases:

Prelims:

● Only students from medical background(MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSc Nursing, BHMS) are allowed to participate.

● Will be held to shortlist participants.

● Will be held in online mode (Recorded videos by the entrants will be selected and informed)

● Time limit: 3.5mins

● Best 12 will be selected for finals.

Finals:

● Costumes and props are permitted and extra marks will be awarded for them.

● Negative marking for using fire or spoiling the stage.

● The music track is to be brought by the participant in a PEN DRIVE.

● Tracks sent on WhatsApp/ telegram/mail or by any other means will not be entertained.

● Submit music of your competitive performances to stage committee at the counter immediately before the commencement of the event.

● Time limit: 2.5-3 minutes (including the setup of prop).

● Negative marking for exceeding the time limit

Judgment Criteria: (for both prelims and finals):

● Performance (30%) (Staging, Execution Showmanship, Variety of Dance Routines,
Entertainment Value and Crowd Appeal)

● Choreography & Originality (30%) (Dance Arrangements & Concept, Incorporating Unique and Original/Creative Moves)

● Theme & Music (20%) (Musicality, Beat Techniques, Timing, Moves Related to the Music)

● Stage Presence (10%) Emotive ability, audience connect, impact

● Costume and props (10%)
