Sultan Ka Durbar (Debate)

All Participants must have Basic Registration (BR) Card before participating in the event.

Due to your overwhelming response the registrations for this event are now closed.

• Only students from medical background(MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSc Nursing, BHMS) are allowed to participate.

• There will be teams comprising of two participants, one speaking for the motion and the other speaking against the motion

• Each speaker will be given 3 minutes for their speech This must contain introduction of the topic, reasoning and evidence to support their argument along with statistics and/or data.

• A buzzer will sound 30 seconds before reaching the time limit. Participants are requested to stick to the time limit.

• Each candidate’s speech will be followed by a rebuttal question from the esteemed judges.

• Reading material is not allowed on the stage. Any participant found using a reading reference will be disqualified.

• Use of any unparliamentary language or hurtful expression is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

• The judging criteria will be as follows:

Strength of argument

Use of examples

Organization and Clarity

Rebuttal questions

Each criterion will be marked out of 10 Marks each.
