Table Tennis
Registration fee:
Singles – 250 Doubles – 400 Prize pool: 15000*
• Only students from medical background(MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSc Nursing, BHMS) are allowed to participate.
1. Maximum number of participants per college— No limit.
2. Events comprise of-Men’s Singles and Doubles, Women’s Singles and Doubles, Mixed Doubles.
3. Format – Knockout matches.
4. In each match, 3 sets of 11 points each will be played except the Semifinals and Final wherein 5 sets of 11 points each will be played.
6. Umpire decision shall be final and binding.
7. Schedule of respective matches will be released a day prior.
8. Players should be in the court 15 mins before the match, otherwise the other opponent will be given a walkover.
9. Players should wear appropriate sporting apparel for the match. No player will be allowed to play in jeans or other clothes deemed unfit.
10. Only non-marking shoes are allowed inside the table tennis court.
11. Participants bring their own racquets. Table tennis balls will be provided.
12. The racquets should be in well maintained condition with no dead rubbers. If there is any objection, the participant will not be allowed to use that racquet.
13. Cheering is permitted if it does not affect the flow of the game (decided by the referee). Cheering or any form of shouting is not allowed in between a rally.
