Mehfil-e-Mirage (Poetry)

All Participants must have Basic Registration (BR) Card before participating in the event.

Due to your overwhelming response the registrations for this event are now closed.

Rules

1. Each contestant will read ONE (1) poem or shayari.

2. Each contestant will be given a maximum of 3 minutes to recite the poem/shayari. Marks will be deducted if the given time limit exceeds.

3. It can be recited in 4 languages – Hindi/English/Punjabi/Urdu.

4. Contestants will be judged based on their Physical presence, Voice and Articulation, Appropriateness of Dramatization, Level of Difculty, Evidence of Understanding and Overall Performance.

5. Contestants are allowed to read the poetry but bonus marks will be awarded if you memorize it and recite without a slip.

6. Contestants must reach the venue at least 15 minutes before the competition starts.

7. Judge’s marks will be final.
